Senior Payroll Specialist — Global Wealth Management & Trust Group (Zurich)

An international wealth management and trust company with a global footprint is looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join their Zurich office. In this role, you will independently oversee a portfolio of Swiss and international entities, including international groups, local SMEs, major financial centres and a wide range of complex, interesting structures. This position suits someone who values autonomy, precision and enjoys working with an international team and a diverse mix of clients across both local and global environments

What you will do: Oversee the full Swiss payroll cycle Independently, manage monthly salary runs, social security and tax at source. Handle personnel administration and year‑end payroll tasks. Act as the main point of contact for authorities and external partners. Ensure compliance with Swiss labour law and social insurance regulations. Support process improvements and digitalisation initiatives with the global team

To be suitable for this role, you bring: 5+ of experience in Swiss payroll with relevel education such as a CAS or Swiss Federal Diploma in Payroll. Background from a fiduciary, Big 4, multi‑client or similar environment. Strong knowledge of social security, salary administration and tax at source. Experience working with diverse client types (corporate, financial services, international employees) A structured, precise and reliable working style Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.

German and English fluent, both speaking and writing
